Tuning Apps
If you or your child cannot tune by ear, please use an app! I recommend these ones below:
Tuner Lite by Piascore for Apple IOS
Tuner gStrings for Android

Stretching/Exercises
Please always remember the importance of stretching/exercising your body before/after your cello practice, and also just in general! Having a tension free body is very important in order to play to your full potential and not to become injured.

Below are a couple of short videos perfect for a mid practice stretch.

Also below is an exercise book I have made, it is aimed at children, however all the information is relevant for anyone! As I have probably said in person, please excuse the photo editing app which made me look quite questionable...

Piano Exercises
If you have a piano/weighted electric piano, there are many exercise you can do on it to develop finger strength (a transferable skill across all instruments, but especially good to train on a piano). Below are some exercises we may have covered in class, if I have not covered this with you yet and you have a piano, please let me know!

You will need to click on 'Part 1' to download.
