Reborn is a work in development. Exploring the concepts of birth, rebirth and womanhood. The grounding of the work is through a merging of Sufi philosophy and ancient Sicilian rituals, specifically delving into the states the self can experience through dreams, death and existence. From the perspective of womanhood, the work is an embodied performative exploration of these states, where the experience of rebirth is at the core.
